I just found this fun website!! It's sorta like what we're doing here except on a much more professional and wider scale. I believe it's being backed by publishers. You basically sign on and type in the title of the book and you can rate or review it. Then you can ask for it to suggest other titles that are similar. Needless to say I had fun looking around on it! It does look like it's catered to Europe more then the US. But I don't think it matters much if you aren't purchasing books off the site.
